Our History

The original Carson United Methodist Church was established in 1880. A wooden framed church was dedicated on February 5, 1882. It was destroyed by fire in 1897. The above church was dedicated on September 12, 1899.

The members of the church wrote out their favorite scripture verses which are preserved under the floor of the new sanctuary. The Carson United Methodist Church is a church built on the Word of God. Our church is at 300 Washington Street in Carson, Iowa. It was completed Mother’s Day May 2, 2002.
