Day 1 Overshadowing. Luke 1:35 “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Prayer for today. God, may your Holy Spirit’s power overshadow my mind, thoughts, will and agenda for what you want to birth anew in me, through me, and around me. Day 2 The Wilderness.  Luke 4:14 “Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and the news about him spread to the whole countryside.”  Prayer for today:  God, breakthrough with your dunamis power in all choices to accomplish your highest good.  AMEN. <> TODAY’S PRAYER HOLD: God, in the spirit of dunamis, I say yes to your future.

Day 3 Sent.  Luke 9:1–2 “¹Then Jesus called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, ²and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.” Prayer for today:  God, may the Holy Spirit break through any selfish habits or fears that burden me.  Today, guide me to be s sent forth instrument of your power and authority.  AMEN. <> TODAY’S PRAYER HOLD:  I am sent forth with God’s power and authority.

 Day 4 Unbelief.  Matthew 13:57-58 “ ⁵⁷And they took offence at him. But Jesus said to them, ‘Prophets are not without honour except in their own country and in their own house.’ ⁵⁸And he did not do many deeds of power there, because of their unbelief.” Prayer for today:  God, may the Holy Spirit replace my eyes of unbelief with your eyes of dunamis possibilities. Day 5 Ability.  Matthew 25:14-18 “ For it is as if a man, going on a journey, summoned his slaves and entrusted his property to them; to one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. The one who had received the five talents went off at once and traded with them, and made five more talents. In the same way, the one who had the two talents made two more talents. But the one who had received the one talent went off and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.” Prayer for today:  God, break through any resistance in me to invest and multiply your gifts of power.  May I become like the first servant in the scripture.  Fill me with confidence, eagerness, and willingness to be used for your greater purposes. Day 6 Wait Training.  Luke 24:29 “ And see, I am sending upon you what my Father promised; so stay here in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” Prayer for today:  God, help me see my seasons of waiting as open doors through which I can connect with you rather than frustrating closed doors to my own desires. Day 7  Timing.  Acts 1:8 “ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Prayer for today:  God, break through my urgency to do and speak my way, instead help me to surrender and wait for the power of the Holy Spirit to open doors, provide, direct,  guide and empower me . Day 8. Power Charge.(Week 2 focuses on increasing awareness of what you can expect of the power of God’s Spirit)   Ephesians 1:19-20 “¹⁹and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power. ²⁰God put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places” Prayer for today:  God, break through my mistaken confidence in my own limited “power.”   Show me the ways to invest in Your spiritual power.  Help me to connect more continually with your Spirit. Day  9  “Power” Prayer for Others.  Ephesians 3:16-19 ¹⁶I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, ¹⁷and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. ¹⁸I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, ¹⁹and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Prayer for today:  God, set me free from a self-focused prayer life.  May your Spirit inspire and empower me to expand into a power infused prayer on behalf of as many others as possible throughout this day.  AMEN <>  TODAY’S PRAYER HOLD:  Spirit release your power through my prayers to build …….

Day 10  Guides and Provides.  Ephesians 3:20-21 “ ²⁰Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, ²¹to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen. Day 11 Walk and Talk.  1 Thes 1:4-5 “⁴For we know, brothers and sisters beloved by God, that he has chosen you, ⁵because our message of the gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction; just as you know what kind of people we proved to be among you for your sake.” Prayer for today:  God, I ask for your help to demolish any habits, fears and thoughts that prevent your light from shining genuinely through me as a witness to others. Day 12 God’s Promises.  Roman 4:20-21 “²⁰No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, ²¹being fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.” Prayer for today:  God, shift any stubborn no in me regarding the promises you offer so that through your power I may experience their yes in you . Day 13 Dunamis Wisdom.  1 Cor 1:21-25 “ ²¹For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, God decided, through the foolishness of our proclamation, to save those who believe. ²²For Jews demand signs and Greeks desire wisdom, ²³but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling-block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, ²⁴but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. ²⁵For God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength.” Prayer for today:  God, clear away any roadblocks of my own assumptions in order that the miraculous open road of your power filled wisdom may be revealed before me. Day 14 Everything We Need.  2 Peter 1:3 “His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”   Prayer for today:  God, dismantle my attitude that material blessings represent your “everything.”  Let the glorious reality of what you mean by “everything” flood through me. Day 15 Through Our Words. (Week 3 focuses on the Spirit’s power when we commit ourselves to a prayer fueled life.) 1 Cor2:4-5  “⁴For I wrote to you out of much distress and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to cause you pain, but to let you know the abundant love that I have for you.  ⁵But if anyone has caused pain, he has caused it not to me, but to some extent—not to exaggerate it—to all of you.”   Prayer for today:  God, break through my prideful desire to sound capable, talented, or competent in the eyes of others, so that I might live today surrendered to your Spirit’s power flowing through my words and actions instead. Day 16 For Eternal Life. 1 Cor 6:14 “And God raised the Lord and will also raise us by his power” Prayer for today:  God, may your Spirit’s resurrection-strength power bring new life to the situations or circumstances that seem “dead.”  AMEN < >  TODAY’S PRAYER HOLD: From death to life …….

Day 17 Faith Focus.  Phil 3:10 “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death.”   Prayer for today:  God, may your resurrection power break through to bring new faith focus and meaning to me in the midst of this season and in the season of life for these people whose names are on my heart. Day 18 A New Spirit.  2 Tim 1:7 “7for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.”   Prayer for today:  God, I say no to all fear and yes to your power selfless love and sound mind of faith. Day 19 Through Scripture.  Matthew 22:29 “Jesus answered them, ‘You are wrong, because you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God.”  Prayer for today:  God, rouse me from my “spiritual sleep” as I read your scripture, so that I am spiritually awake and prayerfully alert to what your Spirit’s power longs to do in and through me. Day 20 The Cross  1 Cor 1:18 “For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”   Prayer for today:  God, open every door of my mind and heart that I’ve kept tightly closed or barricaded by my own self-interests, fears, or procrastination.  May the dunamis activity of your Spirit break through, fill, and transform me completely as I follow you fully.  AMEN < >  TODAY’S PRAYER HOLD: The message of the Cross is power…..

Day 21 War Cry.  Matthew 6:13 “And do not lead us into temptation, ut deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen“(NKJV)   Prayer for today:  God, shatter my fatigue, weariness, or anything else that seems insurmountable in my faith, and surge my spirit anew with a war cry celebrating your miraculous kingdom and power. Day 22 Not Ashamed.( Our final week’s theme involves how to assume a “spiritual posture” that opens your best capacity to become a vessel in the Spirits working in and through you.) Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.  Prayer for today:  God, break through my hesitancy and grant me your Spirit’s powerful boldness in moments when I want to shy away from sharing my story of faith in you with others, or about your answers to my prayers. Day 23 Servant vs. Volunteer.  Ephesians 3:7 “Of this gospel I have become a servant according to the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the working of his power.  Prayer for today:  God, remove my strongholds of selfishness so that I my shift to selfless powerful servanthood for you. Day 24 Battle Ready.  Ephesians 6:10-12 “¹⁰Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power. ¹¹Put on the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹²For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.   Prayer for today:  God, dispel my casual attitude about following Jesus, and may your Spirit’s power motivate me to enlist in whatever spiritual training I need to become battle ready on your behalf. Day 25 Race Prepared.  Colossians 1:11 “Put on the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Prayer for today:  God, break through any lack of spiritual self-discipline in me so that a new willingness to develop spiritual endurance unfolds.  AMEN < >  TODAY’S PRAYER HOLD: Powerful endurance and patience…….

Day 26 My Weakness.  2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “⁹but he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.’ So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. ¹⁰Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.” Prayer for today:  God, reform my view of any personal discouragement or failing so that I may instead see it as a window through which your powerful resurrection strength can shine through. Day 27 Capacity for Hope.  Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  Prayer for today:  God, break through my self-serving desires and requests for blessings.  May I find freedom to allow you to fill me to overflowing with hope and expectation for your abundant provision. Day 28 Sustenance.  Hebrews 1:3 “He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.”  Prayer for today:  God, demolish my tendency to ignore your living presence in every detail of my life and fill me anew with an attitude of welcome and openness to your Spirit of power.
