Pastor Jacques’s message
Beloved Carson and Mount Hope,
We rejoice in the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, an event that altered history forever and still influences our faith today, as we commemorate this glorious Advent season. At Carson and Mount Hope, Christmas is a sacred time for introspection, rejuvenation, and strengthened community rather than just a time to remember. It serves as a reminder of God’s greatest gift to humanity, His Son, who offers reconciliation, hope, and peace.
We are encouraged to embody Christ’s teachings throughout this holy season by showing one another love, forgiveness, compassion, and service. As we help those in need and show kindness outside of our doors, may our fellowship deepen. The light of Christ is reflected in even the most basic gestures of love.
As your pastor, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering dedication, kindness, and Christlike spirit all year long. I wish you a happy Christmas and New Year 2026. May 2026 be fruitful, peaceful, and hopeful with renewed faith.
In Steadfast faith,
Pastor, Carson and Mount Hope UMCs
